SUMMER PRAYER RALLY - will be celebrated at “Sacred Heart Square” across from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kelayres, Pa. on Sunday, June 29 at 2PM. The 7th Annual Rally is sponsored by the Allentown Diocesan Union of Holy Name Societies. Recitation of the Rosary, Scripture Reading, and Litany of Prayers will be followed by refreshments. Holy Name members, their families, relatives and friends are invited. The church is located at the corner of 4th & Center Streets. See directions on poster on rear bulletin board.

A current order form is available at the school office or at SSPPSchool.org. For Special Orders on items not in stock, Please place orders by 11:00 am Tuesdays. Orders will be available for pickup after 11:00 am on Thursdays.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Our parish Vacation Bible School will take place from Monday, July 21st until Friday, July 25th from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. The theme this year is “Rainforest Adventure.” Set aside these dates to have your child experience a “Tree Top Bible Blast.” Registration forms will be available shortly.

INSTITUE FOR LAY MINISTRY - a special program offered by the Diocese of Allentown to help Laymen and Women in the desire to serve God. Classes are held from September through May at Marian High School in Tamaqua on Wednesday evenings, Holy Name High School, Reading on Tuesday evenings and Bethlehem Catholic High School on Thursday evenings. FASHION REPUBLIC CLOTHING DRIVE - Clean your closets! We will be collecting used clothing for our August 12th clothing drive. Our school gets paid by the pound for items. The profit is credited at 50% to the August Fundraising Fee and 50% to the general fund. Clothing, shoes, household items, accessories, stuffed animals, and hard toys must be in usable condition and can be dropped off during the school block party, August 1st and 2nd; during office hours Aug. 5, 6, & 7; or after masses August 3rd & 10th.
